EVANS MILLS, NY — A General Brown school bus was westbound on LeRay Street in Evans Mills at about 1:48 p.m. Thursday, March 14, when a Ford Explorer that was stopped at the N. Main Street stop sign failed to yield the right of way and proceeded into the side of the bus, according to the Black River / Evans Mills Police Department. No injuries were reported. The Explorer was towed from the scene. The driver cited with failure to yield right of way, police said.
