ALEXANDRIA BAY, NY — Planning is still underway for the 4th annual 1000 Islands River Santa Festival.
The event will take place 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2018, with Santa Claus arriving at 11 a.m. by boat at the Upper James Street, Village dock.
Children ages 12 and under will receive a Christmas gift.
All children who believe in Santa are welcome. Year-round and summer residents
are all invited.
There will be hay rides through the streets, Christmas music, snacks and merchants open for last minute shopping.
This even is 100% donation funded. Fundraising is essential for this charitable
event to succeed. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
