BLACK RIVER, NY — A woman and her small child ramped up the Fort Drum barriers on State Route 971V in the town of LeRay at about 3 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2019. Both were transported to Samaritan Medical Center by Black River Ambulance for treatment. Fort Drum Military Police, Black River Fire Department and Crossman Towing and Recovery assisted at the scene.
