Watertown man accused of choking another, police say

WATERTOWN, NYAllen H. Harrell III, 36, of 340 N. Rutland St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 8:43 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, at his residence with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood pressure and second-degree harassment.

Mr. Harrell is accused of placing his hands on the throat of Kylan J. Trombley, 27, 342 N. Rutland St., and squeezed for about five seconds which obstructed breathing and caused Mr. Trombley to become light headed and red in the face at about 8:13 p.m. Wednesday at 340 N. Rutland St., according to court documents. Harrell also allegedly shoved Trombley to the ground during the incident, police said.

He is ordered to appear June 6 in City Court.
