Watertown man accused of pushing police officer, resisting arrest

WATERTOWN, NYJacob Elias Christian Cole, 19, of 1620 Huntington St., Apt. B1, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 12:22 a.m. Friday, March 8, at his residence with second-degree harassment and resisting arrest.

He is accused of actively fought with officers and intentionally refused to place his hands behind his back to be handcuffed at about 1:41 p.m. Dec. 10 at his residence, according to court documents.

He also allegedly pushed police officer Amanda Giaquinto causing her to fall backwards onto a floor, police said.

He was being held pending arraignment Friday morning in City Court.
