Watertown man choked woman during domestic incident, police say

WATERTOWN, NYRoger J. Jobson, 37, of 524 Frontenac St., Apt. B, Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 8:36 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, at his residence with criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation and second-degree harassment.

Mr. Jobson is accused of choking Nicole L. Caplicki causing her to be unable to breath normally and believe she was going to pass out at about 8:05 a.m. Monday at their home, according to court documents. He is also accused of smacking and punching her during the incident, police said.

He was being held pending arraignment Monday morning in City Court.
