Watertown teen accused of violating order of protection, police say

WATERTOWN, NYSeth A. Demiceli, 17, of 969 LeRay St., Watertown, was charged by Watertown police at 12:28 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 12, at 969 LeRay St. with second-degree criminal contempt.

He is accused of violating the terms of a City Court stay-away order of protection when contacted the protected party, Yvonne M. Demiceli, 67, via a phone “with the intention of getting a ride in her vehicle and then received such ride from Public Square to Park Avenue with the protected party as the vehicle operator,” at about 5:00 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, according to court documents.

He was being held at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building pending arraignment Sunday morning in City Court.
