WATERTOWN, NY — Wayne D. Petrie, 66, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, at his home on S. Hamilton Street in Watertown surrounded by his loving family.
Calling hours will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 15, at Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown. There will be no funeral service.
Wayne was born Nov. 19, 1951, in Watertown, a son of William and Marie Rivers Petrie.
On May 26, 1979, he married Lorraine B. Jones in Watertown.
He worked as a contractor for Larry Marcial in Watertown.
He enjoyed watching old Westerns, hunting, fishing, and especially spending time with his beloved grandson, Chase.
Along with his wife, Lorraine, Wayne is survived by his two children, Kristie Petrie and her significant other, Ricky Brown, Watertown and Wayne D. Petrie II and fiancee, Jennifer Smith, Black River; grandson, Chase Petrie; a brother, Gary Rivers, address unknown; four sisters, Eunice Youngs, OK, Faith Petrie, CA, Kay Whitford, Watertown, and Lois Randall, Syracuse; several aunts and uncles, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents, brother, William Petrie, Jr., and sister, Sally Manners.
