LYONSDALE — On June 18, 2020, at 4:47 p.m., State Police in Alexandria Bay responded to Ager Falls in the town of Lyonsdale for a reported drowning.
The investigation had revealed Abraham Whay, age 16, Utica, NY, was walking across rocks near a concrete dam when he slipped, fell into the fast-moving waterfalls, and didn’t resurface, troopers said.
Whay was located and pronounced deceased at the scene.
The investigation is continuing.
