Syracuse pair charged with drug possession after 1,191 individual doses of heroin discovered during vehicle stop in Watertown

WATERTOWN, NY —  On 12/09/20, at about 2:30 pm, members of the Metro-Jeff Drug Task Force initiated a drug investigation in the City of Watertown.

As a result, a vehicle stop was conducted on a 2021 Kia SUV.

Khyla A. Miles and Delvon L. Graham, both from Syracuse, NY, occupied this vehicle.

Investigation led to a quantity of suspected heroin being located in the vehicle.

The vehicle and occupants were secured and transported to the Public Safety Building.

A search warrant was obtained and executed on the vehicle and occupants. At the conclusion of the search 1,191 individual doses of heroin and $1,729.00 in US currency was seized.

As a result, Khyla A. Miles (age 22, Syracuse, NY) and Delvon L. Graham (age 33, Syracuse, NY) were each charged with one count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 3rd degree (class B felony).

Both were arraigned in Hounsfield Town Court and were released without bail.

The Metro-Jeff Drug Task Force was assisted by the Watertown Police road patrol, CID, and ID unit.

This is an on-going investigation.
