SACKETS HARBOR, NY — Shane D. Castner passed away Monday, July 26, 2021, at the Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown. He was 54 years old.
Memorial Service for Shane will be held 2 p.m. Friday, July 30, at the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home. Calling hours will be held prior to the service noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
He was born July 28, 1966, in Inglewood, CA, the son to Michael and Susie Simmons Castner.
Surviving are a son, Shane, Dexter; his stepmom Shayrn Castner, a grandson Wyatt Castner, a brother Michael Castner, two sisters, Anna Jones, Christina Castner; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Shane enjoyed fishing, the great outdoors and writing lyrics, especially enjoyed the time he played in the band “Heavensent”.
