FORT DRUM, NY – AmeriCU has been proud to present the Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert at Mountainfest, to thank the soldiers of the United States Army, 10th Mountain Division, Fort Drum for their valiant service to our country.
“It’s a great opportunity to show appreciation for our soldiers and especially nice to see everyone come together to make this such a successful event,” said Tina Thornton, AVP of Financial Center Operations. “These concerts would not be possible without our dedicated volunteers and the generous support from our sponsors.”
AmeriCU is grateful to all volunteers for their contribution and hard work. Many who travel a great distance to show their support. AmeriCU was especially honored to have Scott Duszynski, Vice President of Member Engagement from The Armed Forces Financial Network as well as Beth Merlo, Vice President at Defense Credit Union Council who attended and volunteered their time at this year’s concert.
AmeriCU has presented The Salute to the Troops Tribute Concert since 2011. The annual concert took place on Wednesday, August 31 and this year’s event featured multi-platinum hit makers Justin Moore with Special Guest Lauren Alaina, two of country music’s brightest stars.
