Anna Moshier, 74, Castorland

CASTORLAND, NY — Anna Moshier, 74, of Swiss Road, Castorland, passed away Sunday, June 23, 2019, at Upstate Medical, University Hospital, Syracuse.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2019, at Iseneker Funeral Home, Inc. Lowville, with Rev. Mr. Ronald J. Pominville officiating. A calling hour will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2019, prior to the funeral, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Sands Cemetery, Greig.

Anna was born on Feb. 6, 1945, in Louisville, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Van Roe Honey and the late Mary Kalamas and attended Lowville Academy.

She married Burton Pomerville. He died on Sept. 3, 1972. Anna would later remarry to Raymond Moshier Sr. The marriage ended in divorce after many years.

Her children were her world. She enjoyed crafts and Elvis.

Anna is survived by seven children and their spouses, Pam and Darwin Roggie of
Castorland, Joseph and Brandi Pomerville of Turin, Gail and Michael Britton of
Carthage, Raymond Jr. and Lynn Moshier of Watson, Francis and Tonya Moshier of LeRay, Fawn and Shawn Sorrow of Suffield, CT, Dawn Stanley of Lowville; 24
grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren; eight
siblings and their spouses, Joe Honey of Boonville, Mary and Bob Young of FL, John and Heidi Honey of Sackets Harbor, Barb and Wes Clair of Boonville; Brenda Meyers of Glenfield, Bonnie Podkowka of Hawkinsville, Eugene Honey of Constableville, Teresa and Donald Dragon of Constableville; and an unspeakable number of nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her two brothers, Michael and Robert Honey.
