Anne M. Sullivan, 62, Watertown

WATERTOWN, NY — Anne M. Sullivan, 62, Watertown, passed away Saturday, June 15, at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, following a long struggle with Leukemia.

Born Oct. 6, 1956, in Watertown, a daughter of Frederick and Cecelia Aloan Thomson, she graduated from General Brown Central and became an LPN.

She worked at Mercy Hospital and the Samaritan Medical Center. She finished her career working for Mental Health through Samaritan Medical Center until her health failed.

She loved to spend time with her family and her grandsons. She was a Girl Scout Leader for ten years and she loved sports.

Surviving are her husband, Michael Sullivan; a son ,Sean Sullivan, Pillar Point, a daughter, Erin Sullivan, Dexter, two grandsons, Cody Bourcy and Aaron Bourcy; a brother, David Thomson of Watertown; a sister, Cynthia John of Dexter; nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; and four brothers, Timothy Thomson in 2008, David Thomson, Tim Thomson (age 2 ½), Frederick Thomson Jr. in 2018.

A memorial service will be held 7 p.m. Friday, June 21, at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Calling hours will be 3 to 7 p.m. Friday prior to the service. Burial will be at a later date.
