WATERTOWN, NY —Â Robert W. George Jr., 23, of 26780 County Route 194, Antwerp, was charged by Watertown police at 5:21 p.m. Friday, May 24, at the Metro-Jefferson Public Safety Building with petit larceny.
He is accused of stealing a bottle of Crown Royal Apple valued at $38.99 when he concealed the liquor in his jacket and exited Gold Star Liquor, 341 Arsenal St., without attempting to pay at about 1:19 p.m. April 26, police said.
He is summoned to appear June 7 in City Court.
