WATERTOWN, NY – The Arc Jefferson – St. Lawrence (www.thearcjslc.org) announced that the agency will hold a retirement dinner for Howie Ganter, Chief Executive Officer, on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2023. The event will take place at The Hilton Garden Inn located at 1290 Arsenal Street in Watertown, N.Y. with cocktails at 5:00 p.m. and the dinner to begin at 6:00 p.m. Ganter will be available to the media for interviews between 5:00 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. or following the dinner at approximately 8:00 p.m.
The cost for all attendees for dinner is $50 per person, which is due upon registration, non-refundable, and open seating. Space must be reserved by December 29, 2022 by contacting Sabrina Starr at 315-836-1364 or slstarr@thearcjslc.org.
Ganter will retire from the agency on January 27, 2023 after 44 years of service. Lynn Pietroski, the organization’s Chief Operating Officer will become The Arc Jefferson – St. Lawrence’s next Chief Executive Officer. The team has been collaborating since August to solidify a smooth leadership transition that will encourage further growth in services for people with disabilities at the $76 million-dollar nonprofit.
