ARC Jefferson – St. Lawrence staff member honored with state-wide award

WATERTOWN, NY – The Arc Jefferson – St. Lawrence (www.thearcjslc.org) announced that Heather Tuttle, Habilitation Program Coordinator, is the recipient of The Arc New York Executive Directors’ Association’s (EDA) Future of Excellence Award for Program Services Excellence. This award was presented on June 14th, during the State-wide meeting.

This year, the EDA launched the Future of Excellence Awards to recognize exceptional performance and leadership by Chapter staff. The group received 80 nominations from 23 Chapters for these prestigious awards. The selection process was competitive, as all were worthy of recognition.

“Heather’s previous and current responsibilities as the leader of The Arc Jefferson – St. Lawrence’s Bridges program make her an excellent choice for the Program Services Excellence Award,” stated Howard Ganter, Chief Executive Officer of The Arc Jefferson – St. Lawrence. “We are grateful that Heather guides the innovative service offerings that are appealing to the young people supported by Bridges. Her creativity and ability to make non-traditional programming successful is exemplary.”
