Area residents graduate from SUNY Oswego

OSWEGO, NY — Several area SUNY Oswego students completed their baccalaureate studies in fall 2018. Commencement, with faculty in full academic regalia, took place in December.

A student who graduates with honors is indicated by the traditional Latin phrases summa cum laude, with highest honor (grade averages of 3.8 to 4.0); magna cum laude, with great honor (grade averages of 3.6 to 3.79); and cum laude, with honor (grade averages of 3.30 to 3.59).

Daniel W. Smith, Adams, completed a bachelor of science degree in business administration

Zachariah P. Schuck, Carthage, completed a bachelor of science degree in business administration

Anthony Disotell, Evans Mills, completed a bachelor of arts degree, cum laude, in information science

Kiara Smith, Gouverneur, completed a bachelor of arts degree in broadcasting and mass communication

Kristen B. Beyer, Lowville, completed a bachelor of arts degree, summa cum laude, in broadcasting and mass communication

Kathryn H. Austin, Rodman, completed a bachelor of arts degree, summa cum laude, in psychology

Christopher R. King, Rodman, completed a bachelor of science degree, summa cum laude, in software engineering

Alexandra D. Beemer, Sackets Harbor, completed a bachelor of arts degree in biology

Brandon Twiss, Theresa, completed a bachelor of arts degree in public justice

Matthew C. Danza, Watertown, completed a bachelor of arts degree in information science

Lindsey N. Kregel, Watertown, completed a bachelor of science degree, magna cum laude, in technology education

Stephen T. Snider, Watertown, completed a bachelor fine arts degree in graphic design

Nicholas A. Toutant, Watertown, completed a bachelor of science degree, summa cum laude, in finance

Rebecca L. Ortlieb, West Leyden, completed a bachelor of arts degree in French
