WATERTOWN, NY — Bert C. Miner, 64, Watertown, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 1, in the emergency room at Samaritan Medial Center.
Born Aug. 1, 1954, in Watertown, NY, the son to Charles and Audrey Durham Miner, he worked for several years as a mechanic at various locations in the surrounding area.
Bert enjoyed watching westerns, listening to Hank Williams and being a mechanic.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret; children, Bert Miner Jr., Watertown, Charles Miner, Watertown, Leon Raskauskas, Watertown; siblings, Charlene Zimmer, Paul Miner, Dorothy Snyder and David Miner; several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by two sisters, Donna Miner and Lisa Rue.
The celebration of life will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, at the Watertown Eagles Club with Pastor Perry officiating.
There will be a graveside service in Dexter Cemetery at a date and time to be announced.
Arrangements are with Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown.
