WATERTOWN, NY – Betty Lou Barnes, 69, passed away Friday night, December 29, 2017 under the care of the Jefferson Rehabilitation Center.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Cleveland Funeral Home, Watertown, NY.
Betty was born in Watertown on November 10, 1948 to the late James and Dorothy Hudson Barnes. After earning her GED, Betty was employed at JRC in the production industry.
She loved embroidery, movies, bird watching and visiting with family. Betty enjoyed traveling with the group Tulip Travel.
Betty is survived by her siblings; Terry (Joyce) Barnes, UT, Wilma (Richard) Petrie, Adams Center, NY, Ned (Mary Ann) Barnes, OH, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, Betty is predeceased by a sister, Judy Barnes.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 6 from 11-1PM with a funeral service following at 1PM at the funeral home. A burial will be held in the spring.
