Charles F. Williamson, 75, Spring Hill, FL

WATERTOWN, NY — Charles Foster Williamson entered into Eternal Life on June 16, 2019, at the age of 75 in Spring Hill, Florida.

Charlie was born in Carthage, New York on May 30, 1944, to his parents, Foster and Mary (Page) Williamson.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years Nancy Williamson, brother Gary Williamson and sister-in-law Terry, three children, Deborah (Williamson) Ricciardi and companion Tim, Daniel Williamson and daughter-in-law, Sonya, Darren Williamson and fiancée Debbie; nine grandchildren and step-grandchildren, Bradley, Benjamin, Noah, Sydney, Jamie, Dana, Blaise, Clint and Valerey; eight great-
grandchildren, Arianna, Luke, Santino, Carter, Cadence, L.A., Randy, Kinley and several nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Charlie bought his first dump truck shortly after marrying Nancy in 1966 and built his business through the years into a Milk Hauling and Dump Truck Operation in northern New York operating 100+ trucks. During this time Charlie and Nancy bought their first rental apartment house in Watertown which increased into several apartments and properties through the years and then purchased the Victory Diner and Shuler’s Restaurant in Watertown, NY, which became a family affair with all three children pitching in. He then expanded south, purchasing Floyd Beck Trucking in Brooksville, FL, in 1990 and moved his dump truck operation to Brooksville, FL, purchasing a limerock mine to become one of the largest aggregate haulers in Central Florida. He retired from trucking in 2013 to spend more time with his family and pursue his hobbies of building computers
and manicuring his lawns.

Charlie was a faithful member of St. John’s Church and a generous man who was always there to help anyone in need. He had a keen sense of humor, loved to tell stories and jokes, loved talking politics and especially loved a good party. He spent a lot of time with his grandchildren riding roller coasters, teaching them how to fix things, dancing and wrestling. He was devoted to his wife Nancy who was his best friend, companion and the love of his life.

Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. June 21, at Brewer & Sons Funeral Home, 1190 S. Broad St., Brooksville, FL 34601. Funeral will be June 22, 11:00 a.m. at St. John’s Episcopal Church, 200 S. Brooksville Ave., Brooksville, FL 34601.

Visitation and Service will be held at D.L. Calarco Funeral Home, 135 Keyes Ave., Watertown, NY on June 27 with visitation from 12:00 p.m. – 1:30 p.m., and a prayer service at 1:30 internment following at Brookside Cemetery, Watertown.
