Clayton man accused of leading police on high-speed pursuit through Watertown

WATERTOWN, NY —  A Clayton man is facing numerous charges following a high-speed pursuit Friday evening through the city of Watertown.

Peter R. Lagrow, Jr., 30, of 355 James St., was charged by Watertown police at 8:40 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, at Ramada Inn, 21000 NYS Route 3, town of Watertown, with third-degree fleeing a police officer in a motor vehicle, second-degree obstruction of governmental administration, a misdemeanor, imprudent speed, failure to stop at a stop sign and two counts of unsafe passing on the left.

“The defendant did flee a police officer in a motor vehicle when the defendant failed to stop for a marked patrol vehicle with its emergency lights and sirens activated while traveling at speeds up to 60 mph in a 30-mph zone,” at about 8:44 p.m. Friday, March 25, in the 100 block of E. Hoard Street, according to court documents.

He is summoned to appear April 18 in City Court.
