WATERTOWN, NY —Â David H. Bennett, 84, Curtis Apts., Watertown, passed away Oct. 10, 2019, at Samaritan Medical Center.
Born Sept. 2, 1935, in Watertown, a son on Arthur Edward and Alma Christine Lester Bennett, he attended Watertown schools.
On Oct. 19, 1968, he married Linda L. Murray at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church with Rev. C. Guilbault, MSC officiating.
He served in the National Guard for four years. David had worked as a dietary aide for Mercy Hospital and as a production supervisor for A. R. C., now J. R. C.
He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church and enjoyed cooking.
Along with his wife, Linda, David is survived by his brother and his wife, Dennis and Felicia Bennett, Rochester, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his sister, Joyce Doherty.
As per his wishes there will be no services and arrangements are entrusted with Cummings Funeral Service, Inc., Watertown.
