GREIG, NY — The Lewis County Sheriff’s Office released the following statement on Nov. 6, 2026:
“On 11/04/26 the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office arrested a 49-year-old man, following a property damage accident on Greig Road Wednesday evening.
Scott M. Hardy, Greig, was arrested after failing Standardized Field Sobriety Tests at the scene. Hardy was transported to the Lewis County Public Safety Building, where he registered a 0.08% B.A.C. Hardy was issued appearance tickets for Driving While Intoxicated as well as other UTT’s. Deputies were assisted at the scene by New York State Police, 3-G Volunteer Fire Department, Lewis County Search and Rescue and Unlimited Collision & Customs.”
