WATERTOWN, NY — This morning at approximately 7:00am Jefferson County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to Weaver Road in the Town of Watertown for an accident involving a car and a pedestrian.
The pedestrian, identified as Agnes T. White, age 91 of Weaver Road, was crossing the street when she was struck by a Toyota sedan traveling northbound. Mrs. White died at the scene.
The operator and lone occupant of the vehicle was not injured and called 911 after the collision. The investigation is ongoing and no tickets have been issued and no charges have been filed at this time.
The Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Town of Watertown Fire, Town of Watertown Ambulance, City of Watertown Police, and the New York State Police.

WATERTOWN, NY —Â The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal car-pedestrian accident that occurred shortly before 7 a.m. Monday on Weaver Road in the town of Watertown, according to Sgt. Joseph F. Cullen, Jr.
Further details will be released later today pending notification of next of kin.
Weaver Road between State Route 126 and Ridge Road remains closed at this time.
Town of Watertown Ambulance, Town of Watertown Fire Department, Watertown Police Department, New York State Police and Cleveland Funeral Home assisted at the scene.
