August 24, from 4 to 6 p.m. the Development Authority of the North Country will hold an open house at the regional landfill in Rodman. Bus tours of the facilities will be available, including the newly-opened expansion area as well as the original landfill footprint. Hands-on displays and exhibits will showcase all that the Authority does, including economic development, broadband infrastructure, assisting municipalities with sewer and water systems, recycling, GIS and more!
