WATERTOWN, NY — Donald Ray Looney, 68, a resident at the Samaritan Keep Nursing Home, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2019.
Arrangements are with the Hart & Bruce Funeral Home.
There will be no services. It was his wishes to be cremated.
Born Nov. 13, 1950, in Ragland, Alabama, a son of Carrie Mae Looney, he graduated from Jefferson Junior High School on Jan. 27, 1967.
Following school he worked for GM Motors in Detroit, Michigan, before entering the US Army on Nov. 27, 1981. He was honorably discharged at Fort Drum on Jan. 27, 1996.
He continued to reside in Watertown where he worked for All Star Cab and retired from Yellow Cab as a driver.
Among his survivors are his long time companion, Angel and her two children; three brothers Willy, Harold, Thedeus; a sister Yvonne; and several nieces and nephews.
