LOWVILLE, NY —Â Donna L. Reese, 72, Lowville, passed away Friday, June 12, 2020, at Samaritan Summit Village, Watertown.
Born Aug. 10, 1947, in Watertown, a daughter to Julius and Dora (Brown) Drake, she graduated from Sackets Harbor High School. She received her associate’s degree in accounting from Jefferson Community College.
Donna worked as the Lewis County treasury clerk in Lowville, NY, until her retirement.
Donna enjoyed partaking and teaching country and line dancing.
She was a volunteer at the Lowville Free Library, Lewis County General gift shop, and Lewis County ARC.
Besides her mother, Dora Drake, Donna is survived by her children, Patrick Messier of North Syracuse, Justin Messier and Kristi Oen of Naples, Florida; her grandchildren, Sean Messier, Oen Frost; her siblings, Jane Lalone, Cindy Meader; & her best friend, Bonnie Bowker. Donna is also survived by close friends Margaret Hanno, Marsha Stanford, Betty Davis, among many others; and her Pomeranians, Buffy and Daisy.
She was predeceased by her father, Julius, and brother, Don Drake.
