Dorothy T. Tanner, 91, Adams

ADAMS, NY — Dorothy T. Tanner, 91, Adams, passed away Saturday, June 16, at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, where she had been a patient since June 12.

Born Feb. 9, 1927, in the town of Ellisburg, a daughter of Leeman and Lottie MacIntosh Thompson, she graduated from Mannsville-Manor School in 1944.

She married Earl Tanner on Oct. 28, 1949, in North Syracuse, NY. Mr. Tanner died Dec. 18, 2004.

The Tanner’s lived in Mannsville for 30 years before building their home in 1980 on Nutting Street, Henderson. Mrs. Tanner retired in 1983 from South Jefferson Central School as a secretary.

Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Holly and Charles Perry; a granddaughter, Becky (Andy) Rabetoy; a grandson and his companion, Shawn Perry and Becky Worthington and 3 great-grandchildren, Macey, Dana and Tanner Rabetoy.

Per Dorothy’s wishes there will be no funeral or calling hours.
