Douglas K. Lindkvist, 71, Watertown

WATERTOWN, NY — Douglas K. Lindkvist, 71, Watertown, passed away April 28, 2019, at Albany Medical Center where he had been a patient.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, in the Sackets Harbor Military Cemetery. There are no calling hours. A reception will be held in Doug’s honor at the American Legion Post 61, Sterling St., Watertown, at 2 p.m. following the service.

Arrangements are with the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home.

He is survived by a brother, Robert, Bremerton, WA; a nephew Kris Lindkvist, Long
Island; and a niece, Alesha Lindkvist, Bremerton, WA.

A brother, Fred predeceased him.

He was born in New York City, a son to Fredrick and Olga Lindkvist.

Doug served with the US Army from 1967 to 1973. Following his honorable discharge, he went to work for the Watertown Daily Times in the circulation department until his retirement.

Doug was a member of the Watertown American Legion Post 61.
