Doyle Security Systems promotes Travis Morgia to Watertown general manager

News release

WATERTOWN, NY –  Doyle Security Systems, a leading provider of alarm systems and monitoring services announced the promotion of Travis Morgia to General Manager of Doyle’s Watertown branch office. Travis’ promotion coincides with the retirement of his father, Bruce Morgia who had previously served as president of STAT Communications.

Doyle acquired STAT in 2021 and retained all STAT employees, including former shareholders Travis and Bruce. Since the merger, Bruce held an integral leadership role for the Watertown team until his retirement in February 2023.

Travis had been a sales and operations leader at STAT communications for 14 years prior to joining Doyle and has consistently exceeded sales performance goals throughout that time. In his new role, Travis will be responsible for all Watertown branch operations. He’ll be joined by current branch Operations Manager, Rick Oshier, and the entirety of the former STAT operations and technical team.

Speaking in reference to Travis Morgia’s promotion and Bruce’s retirement, Doyle Security’s President and Chief Executive Officer, John Doyle, said, “We are very pleased and excited to have Travis follow in his father’s footsteps to lead our Watertown branch. The Morgia family along with the Dawley family did a fantastic job building this business here in Watertown and throughout the North Country. Travis has the knowledge and experience to pick up where his father, Bruce left off and provide a seamless transition.”
