WATERTOWN, NY — Edward John Stefanik Jr., 62, of Keyes Avenue, Watertown passed away Friday morning at Hospice at Ellis Farm in Watertown where he had been a patient since June.
Edward was born March 6, 1956, in Watertown, the son of Edward J. and Jean Vorce Stefanik Sr. He graduated from General Brown Central High School and later received a bachelor’s of arts degree from Mississippi Pearl Jr. College in computers.
He served in the US Navy at Virginia Beach Naval, Mayport and Jacksonville Naval Stations where he was a radar specialist. He retired in 1994.
A marriage to Carol Cote ended in divorce.
He is survived by three sons: John Stefanik of Marshville, NC, Jevon Stefanik of Maryland and Jeremy Stefanik of Georgia. He has brothers and sisters which include: Jan and David Eisenhauer, N. Joseph Stefanik, Joan and Mark Raycraft, Joan and James Blodgett and Pattie Brown. He also has numerous nieces, nephews.
There will be no funeral services at this time.
