REDWOOD, NY – Elaine L. Freeman, 67, died Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at SUNY Upstate Medical Hospital in Syracuse.
Born Nov. 5, 1951, in Alexandria Bay, NY, a daughter of the late Homer S. and Florence I. (Orvis) Booth, she graduated from Indian River Central School. She went on to work as a cashier at Woolworths.
On Aug. 8, 1980, she married William Freeman.
Elaine enjoyed online games, puzzles and reading. She also liked doing needle point and embroidering.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, William; a daughter, Dawn Lee Freeman of Redwood, NY; a sister, Karen Prue of Philadelphia, NY; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A brother, Roger D. Booth and a sister, Carol J. (Savage) Booth, both died before her.
No calling hours or funeral service will be held. A celebration of life will be held 1 p.m. Sunday, March 10, 2019, at the Oxbow Fire Hall.
