WATERTOWN, NY — The Figure Skating Club of Watertown is hosting its Annual End of the Year Skating Show. This year’s theme is “Skate School Musical”. It will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at the Watertown Municipal Arena at the Alex Duffy Fairgrounds in Watertown, NY.
This has been a successful year for the Club’s skaters with several members medaling in the New York State Empire State Winter Games in Lake Placid this past February. Placing in the New York State Empire Games qualifies a skater for the elite State Games of America which will be held in Lynchburg, VA this summer.
The Club also hosted its 8th Annual Snow Town Invitational competition in January with a record number of participants. The competition had 16 synchronized skating teams with almost 500 skaters participating from across Upstate New York and Canada.
