Figure Skating Club of Watertown first day of the 2019-2020 season begins

WATERTOWN, NY  — The Figure Skating Club of Watertown’s season has opened at the Watertown Municipal Arena at the Alex Duffy Fairgrounds in Watertown, NY.

The Club is excited to be back on their home ice for the 2019-2020 season and registration is now open for Learn to Skate as well as the Junior/Senior/Adult level.

The Club’s members are returning to the new season after competing with several medals earned this summer in the State Games of America in Lynchburg, Virginia, as well as Lake Placid. Additionally several members medaled in the New York State Empire State Winter Games in Lake Placid this past February. Placing in the Empire State Games qualifies a skater for the elite State Games of America which are held nationally every 2 years.

The Club will host its  th Annual Snow Town Invitational competition in January where we expect over 300 participants expected from across New York State and Canada.
