Floyd M. Storie, Jr., 91, formerly of Copenhagen and Watertown

WATERTOWN, NY —  Graveside services for Floyd M. Storie, Jr. will be 11 am Wednesday, Sept, 23, in Brookside Cemetery, town of Watertown.

Mr. Storie, 91, formerly of Copenhagen and Watertown, passed away Sept. 15, 2020, at the Betsy Ross Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Rome, NY

He is survived by a niece Dory Koszewski, North East, PA.

He was predeceased by three brothers Richard, Harvey and Karl and two sisters Elizabeth Ann and Dorothy Davis.

Floyd was born May 6, 1929, in Watertown, a son to Floyd Storie, Sr. and Inez Fields Storie. He was educated in Brownville and Glen Park schools. He served with the US Army in Korea from August 1952 and was honorably discharged In February of 1958.

His wife Evadel predeceased him in 1978. His companion, Lillian Eaton, died in 2000.

Floyd was employed at the Watertown Daily Times as an offset pressman, retiring on July 21, 1991. Floyd was an avid fisherman during his retirement years.
