Fort Drum man charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest outside tavern on Public Square

WATERTOWN, NYCameron D. Ward, 28, of 10604 5th Armored Div. Dr., Room 212, Fort Drum, was charged by Watertown police at 2:05 a.m. Sunday, June 16, in the 100 block of Public Square with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Mr. Ward is accused ignoring police requests to stop yelling on a sidewalk outside Whistler’s Tavern.

He is also accused of fighting with officers, pulling his arms away and refusing to comply with verbal commands during the arrest at about 2:01 a.m. Sunday, according to court documents.

He was released to military custody and summoned to appear June 26 in City Court.
