WATERTOWN, NY — Robert J. Garcia, 19, of 770 Oswego Ave., Apt. 226A, Fort Drum, was charged by Watertown police at 7:53 p.m. Friday, July 19, in the 100 block of Mullin Street with second-degree menacing, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Mr. Garcia is accused of placing a 12-year-old boy in fear of death when he displayed what appeared to be a revolver and pointed it at the youth at about 7:31 p.m. Friday in the 600 block of Bronson Street, according to court documents. Police said he actually possessed an imitation pistol and 4.4 grams of marijuana.
He is summoned to appear July 22 in City Court.
