EVANS MILLS, NY — Gerald C. O’Donnell, Sr., 77, of County Route 17, Evans Mills, died Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, NY.
Born Jan. 21, 1941, in Sackets Harbor, NY, a son of Harold C. and Irene E. Brown O’Donnell, he attended Evans Mills High School, Evans Mills, NY.
Gerald entered the US Air Force April 20, 1961, and was Honorably Discharged on April 19, 1965.
He had a love for coffee and enjoyed classic cars.
Survivors include, two children; a son, Gerald C. O’Donnell, Jr., Colorado; a daughter, Penny Craft, Arizona; two granddaughters, Briana and Kiley; six brothers, Harold O’Donnell, Jr., Evans Mills, NY, George O’Donnell, WA, Donald O’Donnell, Black River, NY, Patrick O’Donnell, Evans Mills, NY, Michael O’Donnell, FL, Alan O’Donnell, Evans Mills, NY; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
His parents, a son, Thomas Christopher O’Donnell and two sisters, Mary Perkins and Ruby O’Donnell all died previously.
Family and friends will gather at the home of his brother, Alan D. O’Donnell, 26263 Co. Rt. 17, Evans Mills, NY 13637, from 7-9 pm on Thursday, July 5, 2018.
