WATERTOWN, NY — Gladys Villeneuve Weston, 87, passed away peacefully on Tuesday May 17, 2022, at the Samaritan Summit Village, Watertown.
Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 26, 2022, at Carpenter Stoodley Funeral Home, Belleville. Calling hours will be held prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Maplewood Cemetery, Mannsville.
Born Jan. 4, 1935, in Tupper Lake, she was the daughter to the late Joseph and Lena LaBarge Villeneuve.
She married Francis Weston in 1956. The marriage ended in a divorce.
Surviving are her daughters, Lorelei (Lori) and Ronald Bacon; Bonita (Bunny) and Andy Worthington; two brothers, Douglas and Linden Villeneuve, and a sister Linda Prespare.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her son, William (Bill) Villeneuve, her daughter Denise (Deede) Weston in February 2022 and a grandson Landin Weston.
Gladys leaves behind several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She enjoyed sewing, knitting, and reading.
She was a graduate from Jefferson Community College in 1976.
