Arrested at 8:18 PM for Petit Larceny.  Defendant entered Small Town Supply Store and stole a 1lb bottle of household Lye, valued at $3.59, police said. Defendant was issued an appearance ticket with a Gouverneur Town Court date.

Kevin T. Parris Jr., 29, Gouverneur, NY
Arrested at 2:15 AM for Driving While Intoxicated – 2nd offense (felony), Driving with .08% or more of Alcohol – 2nd offense (felony), Refusal of Breath Screening and No Operable Headlamps. Defendant was traveling on East Main Street without headlights on. Following a traffic stop the defendant was found to be intoxicated by alcohol. Defendant refused to provide a breath sample on the roadside screener. Defendant was placed under arrest and transported to Gouverneur Police Department where he provided a breath sample showing his blood alcohol content to be 0.15%, police said. Defendant has a prior conviction of driving while intoxicated in the past 10 years. Defendant was issued uniform traffic tickets with a Gouverneur Town Court date.

Shane E. Moyer, 54, Gouverneur, NY
Arrested at 6:45 PM for Harassment 2nd – Physical Contact. Defendant was involved in a physical domestic at 1110A Larch Circle Gouverneur.  Defendant is alleged to have grabbed the victim’s right arm and twisted the arm causing contusions, police said. Defendant was issued an appearance ticket with a Gouverneur Town Court date.
