Arrested at 2:57 PM for possession of a hypodermic needle and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance following a domestic dispute. Defendant was found to be in unlawful possession of a controlled substance which field tested positive for cocaine and possession of hypodermic needles, police said. Defendant was issued appearance tickets with a Gouverneur Town Court date.

Tyler J. Shaw, 22, Gouverneur, NY
Arrested at 2:56 PM for first-degree criminal contempt (felony), third-degree robbery (felony), seventh-degree criminal possession controlled substance (2 counts), endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment -physical contact. Defendant was involved in a physical domestic at 36 Spencer Street where the defendant pushed the victim twice and stole her purse by forcibly taking the purse and forcing her outside the residence while the victim has a No Harassment order of protection protecting her from the defendant, police said. Defendant did this in the presence of a child. Defendant was arrested and was found to be in possession of heroin/fentanyl and cocaine. Defendant was arraigned at the Gouverneur Town Court before Judge Stanley Young and held on $2,500 cash / $5,000 bond. Defendant was transported to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.

Defendant was arrested at 8:55 PM for third-degree criminal mischief (felony), endangering the welfare of a child (3 counts) and second-degree harassment – physical sontact (2 sounts). Defendant was involved in a physical domestic on 12/25/2019 at 223 East Main Street Gouverneur. Defendant was acting in an aggressive manner and pushed two victims inside the residence, police said. Defendant punched the front door causing the door’s window to shatter, police said. This all occurred in the presence of three children. Defendant was arraigned at the Gouverneur Town Court before Judge Stanley Young and held without bail. Defendant was transported to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.
