Greig man accused of assaulting woman during multiple domestic incidents

LOWVILLE, NY —  James P. Marra III, 43, Greig, was charged by Lewis County sheriff’s deputies on Nov. 12 with three counts of third-degree assault, a misdemeanor, and second-degree strangulation, a felony, following an investigation into multiple domestic disputes that occurred in the town of Greig.

“Deputies report that Marra choked a female party during the incident. Marra also threw the female party to the ground on three separate occasions causing physical injury. The female party was treated and released from the emergency room after each dispute.”

Marra was arraigned via CAP court in the town of Greig where he was released under the supervision of the Lewis County Probation Department.
