WATERTOWN, NY —Â Gwen Anne Morrison, 49, Watertown, passed away Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, in Watertown unexpectedly.
Born March 5, 1970, in Watertown, the daughter of Michael and Denise Papineau Morrison, she attended General Brown High School, Jefferson Community College and Potsdam State University.
She had been married to Travis Schweitzer and Jessie Jennings, both marriages ended in divorce.
Gwen worked as a home health aide, nurse’s aide and later at Target as a sales clerk.
She is survived by three children: Jordan (Desiree) More of LaFargeville, Daniel (Cassandra) Newstead of Wayland, NY, and Colin Jennings of Watertown; three grandchildren; her mother Denise (Ken) Powis of Copenhagen, and siblings include Paul Morrison of Glenfield, Amy (Matt) Morrison of Newport Beach, California, Adam Morrison of Watertown, Kim Morrison and Ed Diaz of Racine, Wisconsin, Scott Morrison of Alexandria Bay, Angel (Garret) Ostrum of Dexter, Tim (Krista) Gydesen of LaFargeville.
She was predeceased by a son Jason More in 2017.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Calling hours will be 9 to 11 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Dexter Cemetery.
