Harrisville man shoved woman, threatened her with scissors while she was driving in Watertown, police say

WATERTOWN, NY —  James R. Deamer, 37, of 114 Fullerville Rd., Harrisville, was charged by Watertown police at 3:55 p.m. Tuesday, July 30, in the 500 block of Eastern Boulevard with third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a felony, second-degree menacing, endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment.

Mr. Dreamer is accused of displaying a pair of scissors in a threatening manner and made threatening statements in the presence of two children, ages 10 and 6, at about 2:45 p.m. Tuesday in the 500 block of Thompson Boulevard, according to court documents. He also allegedly shoved Nina Deamer into a car window while she was driving during the same incident, police said. He was previously convicted of a crime on June 6, 2019, according to court documents.

He was being held pending arraignment Wednesday morning in City Court.
