Harry E. “Red” Hinkley, 78, Watson

WATSON, NY – Harry E. “Red” Hinkley, 78, of Watson, NY, passed away Sunday morning, Jan. 13, 2019.

Mr. Hinkley was born on June 2, 1940 in Livingston Manor, NY the son of the late Edward Grant “Red” Hinkley and Gladys Irene (Burlingame) Hinkley.

Harry was proud to have built four homes, he loved riding his ATV, motorcycle, and snowmobile. Red loved to work, driving a truck was his passion.

He married Theresa Marie Jones on Sept. 20 1987, in Monticello, NY. The couple moved to the North Country and made their home in the town of Watson.

Red was a past member of the Teamster and Boiler Maker Unions as well as a member of the Monticello Elks Lodge.

He is survived by his wife Teri and his children Donna Packard and Gladys Palmer, as well as his and Teri’s children Tracey Sweeney, Jennifer DeMarco, Joseph Galasso, Anthony Galasso, Lori Steigmeier, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sister Betty Peters, and brothers Roy Hinkley, Bruce Hinkley, and Warren Mastrogiovanni.

Harry was predeceased by his brother James Hinkley.
