WATERTOWN, NY — Heather M. Houser, 43, Watertown, passed away Friday, Sept. 7, 2018, at University Hospital, Syracuse.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown. Calling hours will be 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 12, at the funeral home.
She was born June 27, 1975, a daughter to Harold and Beverly Liscomb Downey.
Heather was employed at Bright Beginnings as a teacher’s aide. A marriage to Guy Gladle ended in a divorce.
She married Garrett Houser on Aug. 12, 2018, in Brownville, NY.
Heather enjoyed going to rummage sales, was an animal lover, she especially loved dolphins and dogs. Most importantly she treasured the time that she spent with her family and friends, especially her children.
Surviving are her husband, Garrett, Watertown; two sons, Cody Gladle, Watertown, and Dylan Gladle; Carthage; two step-children, Carrie Gladle, Carthage; Greg Gladle, Gouveneur; her parents, Harold Downey; Beverly (Sebastian Tubolino) Downey; two brothers, Harold (Daniella) Downey; Robert (Jamie) Downey; father and mother-in-law, Mark and Laurie Houser and the father of her children Guy Gladle. Also surviving is a large extended family.
She was predeceased by a son, Guy Gladle.
