Statement from Watertown City School District:
“At Watertown High School this afternoon, staff were alerted to the possibility of a written threat in one of the bathrooms. Administration is conducting an investigation with law enforcement to identify the source of the threat and its credibility. To ensure students’ safety, we have taken the precaution of bringing in search dogs from local law enforcement. The dogs will go through the building in its entirety to assure us there is no danger. Once they complete the search and we can verify this, we will update you, likely sometime this evening. Thank you for your continued support.”
