WATERTOWN, NY — Jeanne A. Meagher, 86, of Cincinnati and a native of Watertown, passed away Saturday June 16, 2018, at Hospice of Cincinnati.
Her funeral will be 11 a.m. Monday, June 25, at Reed & Benoit Funeral Home, Watertown. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery. A calling hour will be 10 to 11 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Jeanne is survived by her husband of 61 years Richard C., her daughter Karen Ann (Douglas) Ferguson, Loveland, OH, her son Steven (Beva) Meagher, Sanford, ME; her grandchildren Steven (Rachel) Meagher, Berwick, ME and Nicole (Jon) Byers, Cincinnati, OH; great grandchildren Stella, Quinn and Lila Byers; her sisters Margaret Peronne, Ontario, NY, Nancy (Chuck) Lytle, Watertown; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by a son Joseph, a sister Ruth and brother Eddie.
Born October 21, 1931, in Watertown, a daughter to the late Antoine and Ruth Tiernan LaFave, she graduated from Watertown High School and attended college.
Jeanne married Richard C. Meagher in 1957.
Mrs. Meagher was a homemaker.
