Jefferson County Health Department announces potential COVID-19 exposure at Watertown barbershop

WATERTOWN, NY —  This release serves as public notice that two employees at the D’Spot Barbershop at 1063 Arsenal Street, NYS Route 3, Watertown, NY have tested positive for COVID-19.

The location is being made public because the Jefferson County Public Health Service’s investigation shows there is a possibility of exposure to members of the public.

If members of the public received haircuts at the D’Spot Barbershop on the below listed dates/times, please monitor yourself for symptoms of COVID-19 for 14 days from the date you visited the barbershop. Symptoms include fever, cough, shortness of breath, or gastrointestinal illness.

Thursday, August 27, 2020 between 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Friday, August 28, 2020 between 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 29, 2020 between 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Tuesday, September 1, 2020 between 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.
Wednesday, September 2, 2020 between 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

People experiencing symptoms should call their health care provider from home or the Jefferson County Public Health Service Monday-Friday, between 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. at (315) 786-3720.
